Abstract
Water governance plays a critical role in the effective management and allocation of water resources. It encompasses the political, social, economic, and administrative systems that shape how water resources are utilized and governed. The concept includes both formal and informal processes and institutions involving citizens, organizations, social movements, parliaments, and municipalities. These diverse actors influence decisions regarding water management and development, making governance systems essential to ensuring equitable access and sustainable use. Key components of water governance include water law, policy, and organizational structures that guide water resource management. This study explores the various dimensions of water governance and the factors that influence decision-making processes and implementation. By examining these systems, it highlights the challenges and opportunities in improving water governance frameworks to ensure the fair distribution and sustainable management of water resources
